Clear information about delivery, returns, breakages and caring for your pottery. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

1. Delivery
For this first collection, delivery is available to UK addresses only and costs £4.50 per order. Orders are normally dispatched within three working days using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Tracking details will be sent when the parcel is on its way.
Tracked 48 normally aims to deliver in two to three working days after dispatch, but delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. The Honest Potter remains responsible for the parcel until it is delivered to you.
2. Online cancellations and returns
You may cancel a ready-made online order by telling me within 14 days after the day it is delivered. You then have a further 14 days to send it back. Please email before returning anything so I can give you the return instructions.
Return the piece carefully packed and in the condition in which it was received. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage; tracked and insured postage is strongly recommended. I will refund the item price and the standard original delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the returned piece, or receiving evidence that you sent it back, whichever is earlier.
A refund may be reduced if the piece has been handled beyond what would be reasonable when inspecting it and that handling has reduced its value. These are one-off pieces, but they are ready-made rather than personalised, so the normal online cancellation right applies.
3. Faulty or not as described
If a piece is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, please contact me. The Honest Potter will cover reasonable return costs and arrange the appropriate refund or other remedy.
4. Damage and breakages
If a piece arrives damaged, contact me as soon as you reasonably can—ideally within 48 hours—at info@kelvinkilns.com. This request does not limit your statutory rights.
Please include your order details and clear photographs of the pottery, outer box, shipping label and internal packaging. Keep the damaged item and all packaging while the delivery is investigated, and do not post broken pottery unless I ask you to.
I will arrange a refund or, where possible and agreed, a replacement. Because every piece is one of a kind, an identical replacement may not be available.
5. Decorative use and care
Every bowl in this first collection is sold for decorative use only. The glaze and finished piece have not been independently tested for food-contact use, so the bowls are not intended for serving, storing or preparing food or drink.
Handle with care. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not put the pottery in a dishwasher, microwave or oven.
6. Payment and one-off stock
Secure checkout is provided by Stripe. The Honest Potter does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Please see the privacy policy for information about personal data.
There is only one of each listed piece. A piece is sold when its checkout is successfully completed. In the unlikely event that two payments are accepted for the same piece, the later order will be cancelled and refunded promptly.
